Evergy is proposing two fossil gas plants to the KCC in Reno and Sumner County, with a staggering price tag of $2 billion. Kansans will ultimately be left with the bill. Tell the KCC we don’t want dirty gas!
As a for-profit monopoly, Evergy faces no free-market competition to offer ratepayers the best and most affordable electricity. Therefore, we have no choice but to be Evergy customers.
Evergy does not have to earn our business; instead, it profits from us.
