Annually award scholarship to local college students who contribute to our community and have an interest in participating in social or government studies.

The League of Women Voters of Wichita is now accepting scholarship applications for 2017. Every year the Wichita League advertises the scholarship to local schools: Friends University, Newman University, and Wichita State University. The scholarship is open to any student enrolled in public administration, political science, government, public policy, history, or pre law. Also, students who are in leadership roles or student body government are encouraged to apply. The scholarship to be awarded will be up to $2,000 and is non-renewable.
